Bike & Stay

Mountain Creek Bike Park is Proud to be the Home Mountain of Kathi Krause and Dirt, Rock n Root Training

Join Kathi and Dirt, Rock n Root Training for a series of 5 consecutive  1-day weekly learn-to downhill clinics.  Held each Tuesday in July from 4-7PM.  These clinics will start by reviewing the core fundamentals of mountain biking and focus on a new downhill skill each week. Each week's session will build upon the skills learned the previous week providing our youngest riders with the core skills they will need to tackle the mountain top-to-bottom.

About Kathi Krause:
Kathi started out racing on the velodrome and worked her way through criteriums, road, cyclocross and cross country racing before finding her way to the Pro Downhill circuit. With three Masters World Downhill Championships and 25 years of racing behind her, Kathi started Dirt Rock n Root Training in 2011. One of DRRT’s main objectives is to help bring more women into mountain biking and to promote mountain biking as a lifestyle sport.  When not coaching, you can find Kathi riding downhill at Mountain Creek and other mountains around the world.
