Dirt, Rock n Roots - Women's Downhill Camp 2

Come to Mountain Creek Bike Park and join Kathi Krause of Dirt Rock n Root Training for a 3 day women’s downhill clinic August 22-24!  We’ll start by reviewing the core fundamentals and then move on to key skills for conquering the mountain – descending position, cornering, braking.  We’ll work on how to pick the best line down the trail, and how to clear obstacles that we find along the way.  There will also be a GoPro analysis, so you can see how you are improving!

Kathi Krause started out racing on the velodrome and worked her way through criteriums, road, cyclocross and cross country before finding her way to the Pro Downhill circuit. With three Masters World Downhill Championships and 25 years of racing behind her, Kathi started Dirt Rock n Root Training in 2011. One of DRRT’s main objectives is to help bring more women into mountain biking and to promote mountain biking as a lifetime sport.  When not coaching, you can find Kathi riding the downhill at the nearest mountain.

Target:  Beginner to Intermediate women, racers and recreational riders.  – but all levels can benefit from this clinic.
